|WorleyParsons had outgrown two ageing Citrix based systems and required an industry standard system that was scalable and would make integrating data possible between all disciplines within the business. We sought a browser-based system to improve user access and experience. We looked to EcoSys to streamline our project controls and enable consistent project delivery and reporting over a diverse range of projects across our locations globally. Having an enterprise solution makes it easy to share project details regardless of location. It also means regional managers have visibility of all offices at the push of a button. I will show examples of where we are extracting value now with ease of collaborative efforts and by providing transparency across the organization. Introducing a standard coding structure in EcoSys means we can look at the average discipline costs on a geographical basis, and I will share examples of how we use this. We have been able to configure EcoSys using our Enterprise Management System guidelines which means people must follow the inbuilt workflow and follow correct business process, not only saving the costs incurred with unnecessary deviations but also enforces consistent project delivery across the whole organization. Being able to configure EcoSys to hold internal cost and client cost enables quick and accurate profitability reports for internal management. I will also demonstrate an unexpected win the easy import functionality provided. Next steps: utilizing best practice benchmarking data for future estimates.
